Description

Cheapside is a street in the City of London, linking Newgate Street with the junction of Queen Victoria Street, Cornhill, Threadneedle Street, Princes Street, Lombard Street and King William Street via The Poultry.

The names in the streets leading from Cheapside are mostly named after what was sold in them in olden times, such as Wood, Milk, Bread, Honey, Poultry etc.
